Mos Def fire rays of light, intelligent hip-hop, with black on both sides!
Posted in News by rina 1 CommentMos Def is one of the leading trio of experienced rapper (along with general and Talib Kweli), while there are others such as KRS-ONE, etc. These three are all interrelated, as they all called the same albums, and they are all the same “social circle” as it were. Mos Def, still underground artist and he is quite familiar.
Anyway, I digress. Mos Def, rappers Brooklyn, is a member of Black Star (with Talib Kweli and producer DJ Hi Tek). This band released a fantastic Black Star in 1997. In 1998, however, the group paused because MS can solo career. Black on both sides of the debut solo album from this smart, intelligent, talented young rapper.
